Ellen Salter
As of January 2022, Ellen started working for a global management consulting firm, focusing on ESG and sustainable business. She is a Senior Sustainability Consultant leading a small team providing sustainability and climate change advice to organisations. Her role involves providing ongoing advisory support to businesses with a focus on sustainability.
Ellen’s advice to students joining our school is to make the most of our career service. She explains how the team provides great advice on key skills for interviews, enhancing your CV and application documents, as well as providing a great summer internship programme.
Geography was a great course to meet like-minded individuals and lifelong friends.

Omar Clarke
Omar works as a Management Consultant at a firm called Sia Partners. The role involves working with clients in the Energy and Utility industry and supporting them with strategic and operational challenges that they may have.
Omar has used his diverse skills working with a range of large energy and water companies which has involved helping them with the creation of their five-year business plans, supporting multi-million business transformations and driving operational improvement.
Studying our BA Geography allowed Omar to build connections and partake in extra-curricular activities that demonstrated his interests and supported his intended career path.
Geography provided the grounds to do exactly this through its combination of physical, human and geo-spatial modules.
