Libraries
The University of Nottingham has 8 libraries across our UK campuses, with facilities that include traditional silent reading areas, areas for group study, and refreshment areas.
Our libraries house a wide variety of books, journals and other publications for you to use, and provide access to a wealth of electronic information.
Locations
George Green Library on University Park Campus
You’ll find computer rooms conveniently located around the University's campuses, including one in each library. The workstations found there are connected to the University’s data network, with each computer room having at least one laser printer and several laptop plug-in points.
Language Centre
The Language Centre delivers a range of language classes for all levels, with nine languages to choose from: Arabic, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, and Spanish.
Furthermore, you can also join the Self-Access Centre for free to further support your language learning through classes or self-study.

Lakeside Art Centre
Found at the south entrance of University Park, the Lakeside Art Centre is a museum and art centre that hosts music, dance, theatre, exhibitions and workshops.
DH Lawrence Pavilion
Situated by the lake and Highfields Park, it comprises the Djanogly Art Gallery, Djanogly Recital Hall and Djanogly Theatre.
Djanogly Recital Hall
The concert hall is regarded as one of the best in the UK, with sublime acoustics to make it a favourite for recording and broadcasting.
Djanogly Art Gallery
A popular local arts venue, the art gallery is renowned for its visiting exhibitions, historical exhibitions, and contemporary installations.
Djanogly Theatre
Providing a stimulating and broad programme, the theatre is a homely black box venue with seating for up to 250 people.
Lakeside Arts on University Park Campus
David Ross Sports Village
Our £40 million David Ross Sports Village features a range of high-end facilities, complete with the latest equipment and top-of-the-range facilities, with accessible sports provisions for all.

Jubilee Sports Centre
Our Jubilee Sports Centre, situated on our central campus features a 100-station fitness suite with top-of-the-range equipment, a bespoke spin studio and functional training rooms.
Highfields Sports Complex
Located in Highfields Park, the sports complex is adjacent to the Nottingham Hockey Centre, which includes a world-class water-based hockey pitch owned by the University.
Riverside Sports Complex
Just a short way from the University Park campus, the Riverside sports complex offers over 150 acres of grass sports fields as well as 2 brand new pavilions with extensive changing and meeting facilities.
Sutton Bonington Sports Centre
Our Sutton Bonington sports centre is ideal for students based near our rural Sutton Bonington campus. The sports centre house a 100-station fitness suite as well as the following:
Archery at the David Ross Sports Centre
The University of Nottingham Health Service is situated in the Cripps Health Centre on the main University campus. The practice provides health services for students and staff at the university.

Our 300-acre University Park Campus is the centre for your student experience at Nottingham. While it has a thriving social scene and is located just 2 miles from the city centre, the parks, gardens and woodlands provide an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Jubilee Campus
Our Jubilee Campus is unique, with innovative buildings incorporated with green spaces and teeming with wildlife, inspiring creativity while you study. This purpose-built, sustainable space is just one mile from University Park Campus, allowing students to enjoy the facilities and amenities of both.
The distinct 65-acre campus has an entrepreneurial spirit, home to our Business School, the University of Nottingham Innovation Park and the Ingenuity Centre – complete with a meditation floor overlooking the campus.

Sutton Bonington Campus
Our rural Sutton Bonington Campus is an inspiring and dynamic space for students studying at our Schools of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine.
Affectionately known as ‘SB’ among our students and staff, the campus has the best specialist facilities, including a 1,100-acre University Farm, Centre for Dairy Science Innovation and animal small holdings, our paperless Super Lab, specialist glasshouses and food processing facility.
While the campus has everything you need to enjoy your student experience, there is a free hopper bus service to take you to the main campuses, so you can connect with other students and enjoy the amenities there.
