Theo, economics student

“The scholarship has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. It’s allowed me to focus on my studies, join societies, and truly embrace university life without constantly worrying about finances. It has also shown me that I am valued by the university and that I have people who believe in my potential, which is a great feeling.”

Isaac, law student

“I really appreciate the support the scholarship has given me, not only because of the opportunities but also because of the peace of mind it has provided that I am able to do extracurricular activities without worrying about running out of money. I can now buy the sports memberships to improve my skills and maybe one day get into a competitive team.”

Shayaan, politics and international relations

“This scholarship is not just financial aid, it is a vote of confidence that motivates me to work even harder. It has opened doors to experiences and opportunities that I may not have otherwise had. Looking ahead, I hope to use this support to achieve my academic potential, develop skills that will help me excel in my future career, and give back to the community that has supported me.”

First-year social work student

“The scholarship has given me the ability to purchase my first laptop. It is a crucial tool for me to be able to study and research. Without it I wouldn’t be able to access the vast amount of resources that are available.”

Kailen, accountancy student

"The scholarship has already been put to good use, and I have invested in an iPad to help me study by utilising apps like OneNote. This has been a revelation for me in studying, and makes everything more easily accessible, making revision that bit easier. Without this, I would find it difficult to revise university work."
