A guide to creating a 'Find Your Nottingham hub' account

A helpful guide to take you through the steps to create a 'Find Your Nottingham hub' account. The My UoN account will help you save courses and resources to a personal portal that you may find useful throughout the application process.

8 steps to create your account

Visit https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/studywithus/ugstudy/find-uon.html and provide your email address and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.

Locate and click on the sign in button - you will find this located in the top right corner of your screen on this page.

You'll be be taken to a page that shows information on signing in, please click on sign in if you have already created an account. If you do not have an account, please click sign up.

To sign up, you will be required to use the same email address associated with your application.

Please enter the email address as prompted.

Once you enter the email, click on send verification code.

The verification code is sent to your email address

Enter the verification code on the field and click on verify code

If you haven’t received a code, you can click on the send new code

Once your email address is verified, you can proceed to the next stage of the form.

Given Name (Mandatory field) – Your first name. Should be same as your application.

Surname (Mandatory field) – Your last name or surname.

New Password (Mandatory field) – Enter a password to meet the following criteria - 8-16 characters, containing 3 out of 4 of the following: Lowercase characters, uppercase characters, digits (0-9), and one or more of the following symbols: @ # $ % ^ & * - _ + = [ ] { } | \ : ' , ? / ` ~ " ( ) ; .

Confirm password – Enter the same password.

Where are you joining us from? (Mandatory field) – Home student or International.

By law, we require information on how you wish to be contacted. Contact preferences are ways of gathering information about you and how you would like your personal data (email address, postal address, phone number, etc.) to be used by us for contacting you.

Please select how you would like be contacted on the sign up form:

Click create to complete the sign up process.

Head back to the sign in button and try signing in.

Frequently asked questions

Please use your personal email address that you provided during the application process. This ensures that the system can identify you as an applicant and match your record in our system,

If you are experiencing login issues, please ensure that you are using the correct email address and password. If the problem persists, click on the "Forgot password" link on the login page to reset your password. 

After signing up and logging in, the system will automatically identify you as an applicant by matching your record in our system.  Relevant content for applicants will then be presented on your dashboard. 

Check your spam or junk folder to ensure that the confirmation email is not there. If you still haven't received it, click on the "send new code" link on the sign-up page.  

It is recommended to use the same personal email address that you provided during the application process (via UCAS).

You can sign up with any email address but we will not be able to match your record in our system. 

Anyone with an email address can log in to Find Your Nottingham hub and your hub will be personalised based on your profile and preferences. 

The system is designed to self serve the users and no additional support should be required. If you are facing technical issues with the Find Your Nottingham hub, please try after again. To update your personal information, log in to the portal and navigate to the "Account Management" section on the Find Your Nottingham hub page. Follow the instructions provided to make the necessary updates. 

Yes, the Find Your Nottingham hub is designed to be mobile-friendly. You can access it from your mobile device's web browser for a convenient experience. 

You can delete your Find Your Nottingham hub account by visiting the Account Management section on the Find your Nottingham hub page, once you are logged in.

Deleting your account will have no impact on your application.
