If you enjoy creative expression, then some of our core modules will also give you the option of being evaluated through a creative interpretation of the topics taught, including:

- fiction and poetry
- multimedia expressions
Subject-specific modules may involve essays, exams, presentations, or creative interpretations, allowing you to demonstrate your understanding in varied formats.
Other assessment methods include dissertation, reflective reviews, commentaries, creative writing, and work for wider audiences (podcasts, blogs, articles).
Personal tutors closely monitor your progress, providing guidance and solutions to any challenges you may face.
Our teaching quality is upheld by experienced staff dedicated to interdisciplinary learning, ensuring a supportive environment where over 96% of students express satisfaction with course content, learning spaces, and support.
''The Liberal Arts course content was so varied, and assessed via different methods so I was able to try lots of new things. For example; I worked out quite quickly I didn't want to be an academic, then I wrote and recorded some monologues and although it was fun, I realised I didn't want to work in drama or video. But when we created leaflets debunking misconceptions about refugees living in Nottingham it sparked something in me, I loved it.''
