Rewilding campuses and rewilding people

As part of our exciting new Wilding Campuses pilot project with SOS UK and partners across Nottingham, we are creating opportunities for people to create wild spaces and connect with nature. The project will see campuses committing to changes in land management practices with the introduction of wilder habitats. There will also be opportunities for staff, students and the community to take part in practical skills sessions, wellbeing activities, and biodiversity monitoring.

In particular we are seeking to engage with those who may not already have much connection with nature. This includes those from working class backgrounds, people of colour, students studying non-environmental courses, those with caring responsibilities and those with disabilities.

Would you like to be involved or can you help us connect with those groups?

Get rewarded

Green Rewards helps you take action for the environment and rewards you for the efforts you make.
From now until September, staff teams have a chance to win by using the carbon calculator on Green Rewards. The new built-in carbon calculator allows you to calculate your carbon footprint based on your home lifestyle and your footprint and at work too. The team with the lowest average combined work carbon footprint will win a prize.
