The Full-time Nottingham MBA is an intensive, one year course designed to build on your previous work experience by developing the management skills and leadership capabilities you need to progress in your career.

Small classes, individual career support and close interaction with expert staff will support you to create your own authentic and effective leadership identity.

The programme

During the MBA, you will develop teamwork skills in group work, engage with businesses and organisations, have opportunities for international business study tours and take part in a personal and professional development programme.

Semester one

• Six core modules – the essential areas of management
• Business Practice Week - company visits in Nottingham and London

Semester two

• Two core modules – benefit from Nottingham’s distinctive strengths in sustainability and entrepreneurial skills
• Four optional modules – build on core areas and tailor the course to suit you

Summer

• Individual or group management project with a real organisation for up to three months

Our careers team work with you throughout the course with a competency and career development plan.

What impressed me the most was the opportunity to work hand in hand with a community organisation aiming at creating strategies to improve their performance.

Besides helping Nottingham's local initiatives, this allowed us to develop key consultancy skills such as business research, strategic planning and pitching skills.
