Registration for the Arts Faculty Impact Event day aimed at the academic staff within the Faculty is now open (programme here).

The day will open with sessions on the University's perspective on Impact and REF from Dr Richard Masterman, APVC for Research Strategy, Policy, Performance and REF, on 'Impact on the Research Strategy and QR Funding Flow' and Prof Hervé Morvan, APVC for Innovation, Business Engagement and Impact, on 'The University's Position on Institutional Impact'.

Workshops include:

  • Working with Audiences: Dr Liz Evans
  • Developing Evaluation Frameworks: Dr Anna Walas
  • Working with Schools: Prof Pat Thomson
  • Engaging with Policymakers: Léonie Mathers
  • Engaging with Businesses: Gemma Morgan-Jones and Dr Esther Eidinow

The workshops will be followed by 1:1 sessions at which there is the opportunity to discuss individual projects in detail with Impact specialists.

The programme closes with a lecture at 17:00 in A48 Sir Clive Granger by Prof Robert Shoemaker, entitled “From the Old Bailey to the Digital Panopticon: Adventures in Digital and Public History”.
