ESRC Network for Integrated Behavioural Science

We are delighted to announce the establishment of the Network for Integrated Behavioural Science.  This ESRC funded initiative involves collaboration between three of the UK's primary centres for behavioural science research: the CeDEx group at University of Nottingham; the CBESS group at UEA; and the Behavioural Science groups (WBS and Psychology) at University of Warwick.  The Network will benefit from approximately £4 million of funding from the ESRC over four years to undertake foundational, cross disciplinary, research modelling human behaviour and behaviour change plus conceptual and applied research examining implications for public decision making.

The Network funds opportunities for PhD and Postdoctoral research. Junior researchers associated with the Network will benefit from exchange opportunities with seven international partners at: CREED (University of Amsterdam); Decision Research (University of Oregon); Center for Behavioral Decision Research (Carnegie Mellon University); Decision research groups (Han Bleichrodt and Peter Wakker) at Erasmus School of Economics  (Erasmus University, Rotterdam); Economic Psychology Group (Basel University), Thurgau Institute of Economics (University of Konstanz);  and Center for Adaptive Rationality (ARC) (Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin).

The Network hosts various research events to promote linkages with behavioural scientists from other universities and disciplines, plus links with potential research users in private, public and third sector organisations.
