Reinhard Selten becomes external fellow

Professor Dr Reinhard Selten , Research Coordinator at the University of Bonn has become a CeDEx external fellow.  His research interests are: theories of bounded rationality; game theory and its applications; and experimental economics.

Reinhard Selten was awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1994 for two publications from the years 1965 and 1975. With these papers he achieved a decisive breakthrough in game theory.  Today, most of the leading scientific journals are dominated by game theoretic articles. Additionally, game theory has found applications in all of social sciences and even in biology.  More information about Reinhard can be found on the University of Bonn's website.
