Dr Landa-Silva and Dr Qu Complete an Outstanding KTP in Collaboration with Webroster Ltd

Dr Dario Landa-Silva and Dr Rong Qu recently completed a successful KTP project in collaboration with Webroster Ltd and the project has been rated as “outstanding” by the Innovate UK panel of assessors. A certificate of excellence was issued in recognition of this excellent achievement. The KTP project aim was to improve homecare workforce utilisation by developing an adaptable software optimisation engine to solve workforce scheduling and routing problems. The results of the KTP were beyond expectations with Webroster in position to launch the optimisation product later in the year and the academic team producing several research papers a result of the work, which have been published in leading academic journals and international conferences.
