Call for Abstracts for NES 2017

Trainee Ophthalmologists/Optometrists/Visual Scientists are invited to submit research abstracts to the Nottingham Eye Symposium and Research Meeting to be held on Friday 27th January 2017

Three awards will be presented: The Nottingham Research Prize for the best clinical paper; The David Meyer Prize for the best basic science research paper; The Nottingham Poster Prize.  All presentations will be judged by a panel during the Symposium and Research Meeting.

 Instructions for Authors:

 Abstracts should follow the subheadings: Title, Authors and Affiliations, followed by Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusions not exceeding 250 words.  

Please also include your name, position, hospital, preferred address, telephone and e-mail address.

 Please indicate your preferred presentation technique: Oral and/or Poster.

Send your abstracts as an e-mail attachment (Word document) with the subject, NES ABSTRACT to:- nes@nottingham.ac.uk to arrive no later than 23rd December 2016 (extended).

Receipt of abstracts will be promptly acknowledged.  Successful abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings and NES website.

This meeting has been awarded 6 CPD points by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists
