Print account and balance

Guidance on how to activate your print account and check your balance.

 

 

UoN Print Service

check_circle   The Print Service uses Multifunctional Devices (MFDs) which offer printing, copying and scanning

check_circle   You can release your print or copy job at any MFD across the university

check_circle   Plotters are also available for wide format printing at Engineering and Architecture and Built Environment, Hallward and DLRC Libraries

 

 

Activate your account

You will need to activate your print account before you can use the Print Service. Activate by using any of the following options:

  • Login to mobile print with your University username and password, then upload a document
  • Send a print job from a University PC or Virtual Desktop
  • Swipe your University card on the MFD card reader and log in with your University username (UoN User ID) and password

We recommend you secure your University card by setting a print PIN on the MyPrint website.

 

 

Print credit and costs

There will be 50p credit pre-loaded onto student accounts, which will equate to approximately 25 mono sheets.

In order to add additional credit to your account, you must first activate your print account by following the steps above.

Unused credit is not refundable or transferable so please manage your account accordingly.
