The faculty is a dynamic environment and industry engages in both our teaching and research programmes.

This means that throughout your undergraduate degree, you will have to opportunity to interact and work with industry, giving you excellent experience that will later help you in the working world.

Our partners range from start-ups and SMEs to major multinationals, with many interactions leading to long-term relationships.

Involvement with teaching

Students across the faculty often get the opportunity to attend industry site visits, giving an insight into the reality of the theory taught.

We also feature guest lectures from figures in industry and collaborate with industrialists who advise and comment on course developments, skill requirements and organisation. This means we offer courses that are relevant to industry, with cutting-edge teaching preparing you for the working world.
