How to Apply
To apply, first see the course details on this website. Applications can be submitted at any time of the year, so either post an application form or apply online using the online postgraduate application system. The benefits of using the online application procedure are:
- your application is not delayed or lost in the post
- you receive an automatic acknowledgement of receipt
- you can view the progress of your application by using the online tracking system
- you can access extra information about Nottingham and the University
Please note that applications take at least six weeks to process. In addition, where applicable, at least six weeks must be allowed for obtaining visas and making arrangements to come to the UK.

Start dates
The taught Masters programmes start at the end of September each year. This is the beginning of the UK academic year. Students taking doctoral programmes are advised to start at this time if possible, however, PhD students may also start in January.
Doctoral applicants
