Career Breaks

We recognise that employees may wish or need to take a break from work for a variety of personal reasons, during the course of their employment.

A career break is an extended period of unpaid leave from the workplace.  Career breaks are typically used to pursue personal interests, such as travelling, volunteering or personal development.  They can also be used to provide a period of care for a dependant.

The Career Break Policy confirms our commitment to arrangements that enable employees to balance work with other commitment and responsibilities outside of work.
