Virtual fundraising

If you had been planning a fundraising event which has had to be postponed or cancelled and would still like to fundraise for us, why not try virtual fundraising? Here's a few ideas to get you started!

Virtual running

Although mass runs like the London Marathon and Nottingham Half Marathon aren't currently taking place, why not follow in the footsteps of inspiring people like Captain Tom Moore and do laps of your house? Or you could do a socially distanced marathon! Get friends and family involved, either by sponsoring you or by running a virtual race together using a team fundraising page. Keep an eye on our NBCRC and CBTRC pages for our own virtual events!

Virtual quiz night

Why not organise a virtual pub quiz or games night? It's a fun and easy way to get friends, family or colleagues together virtually to test their general knowledge, while helping to raise vital funds for us by collecting donations or an entry fee.

Baking demonstrationVirtual lessons

A keen baker, knitter, gardener or secret yoga superstar? Why not share your skills and offer an online tutorial for a small donation?

Virtual night out

You may not be able to have a night out with friends, but you can still do it virtually! Get everyone together online and donate what you would have spent on drinks at the pub instead. You could have different venues in different rooms or suggest a fancy dress theme.
