Resources in this area are included for discussion and critique. Whilst meant to represent reasonable clinical practice, they should only be considered as resources to support learning rather then definitive practice guidelines. Practice may need to be adapted to meet the needs of individual patients and clinical areas.

Learning Resources
Most NHS Trusts use The Royal Marsden Hospital Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures as the core reference checklist and is available as an ‘e-book’ from the University Library. The School of Health Sciences Reusable Learning Objects (RLOs) also includes a number of Clinical Skills resources.
