Fernando Casal Bertoa wins in Routledge Impact and Interdisciplinarity Awards

Dr Fernando Casal Bertoa has been awarded the Impact Award in the first annual Routledge Area Studies Awards on Impact and Interdisciplinarity.

The aim of the awards is to highlight original published research which makes a significant contribution to the understanding of 'areas' of our world. Fernando's winning project 'Public funding of political parties: what is it good for?' was described by the judges as having 'demonstrable real-world impact at a policy level, with the research findings being of interest to policy makers, national governments, and think-tanks/transnational organisations capable of recommending change'.

Congratulations Fernando!
