Onboard energy

Exploring ways to generate and store energy in vehicles.

The challenge

The future of greener, electrified transport rests on the successful development of innovative solutions to generate and store energy onboard a vehicle.

Our response

Our work is leading the way in this field of innovation. We are exploring technologies that range from thermoelectric devices and batteries to photovoltaics. Our aim is to develop, build and test high impact demonstrators to prove commercial viability.
