The Departments of Classics and Archaeology offers a range of courses and modules at various levels related to the research interests of the Centre for Late Antique and Byzantine Studies (CLABS).

We also welcome enquiries from people interested in pursuing doctoral research with us.

Undergraduate

There are a range of undergraduate degrees that provide opportunities to study areas covered by CLABS.

Individual modules

Many modules relating to our research interests are available to students outside of the Department of Classics and Archaeology (subject to space available).

Our prospectus pages indicate typical modules available but options can only be confirmed at module selection time.

 
 

Masters

There are two Masters degrees where you can explore Late Antique and Byzantine periods to a more advanced level.

 

 

PhD / MPhil

Our  Archaeology PhD/MPhil offers opportunities to people wanting to pursue research covering the Late Antique and Byzantine periods.
