  • 94% of the 2023 class graduated on time.
  • 99% of graduates are employed in a veterinary-related field post-graduation.

Other

The School uses data and feedback from a variety of sources such as National Student Survey (NSS), Nottingham Student Experience Survey, RCVS Graduate Survey etc to improve the student experience.

The National Student Survey (NSS)  is carried out across all UK degree courses by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the UK Office for Students. Students in their final year complete a standard set of questions, and can also provide free text feedback. Since the School’s establishment it has been consistently ranked as the top UK Veterinary School for overall satisfaction (and normally every other category as well).  In 22/23 the School had the highest results of any course in all Russell Group Universities in England.

The Nottingham Student Experience Survey is run yearly (with the exception of the Covid period). Similar results were identified as per the NSS survey. The results show that students are less satisfied with their experience outside the School (accommodation, transport etc). The School has addressed these issues in a NSS action plan which will feed forward to University Departments for action. In addition the School is implementing actions, where possible, for example, reserving parking spaces for students who have examinations.
