Visual Learning Lab

Visual Learning Lab

The Visual Learning Lab began its work as a Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) in March 2005.  These pages celebrate some of the work it has initiated and look at key outcomes for research, teaching and learning, and the student experience at the University and beyond.  They also offer practical advice through case studies and 'How to' guides for staff and students interested in using visual technology in their work, and provide information on the research currently being undertaken by the VLL Core Team.

Lord Dearing Award for Teaching and Learning 2010

The Visual Learning Lab team has been awarded a Lord Dearing Award for Teaching and Learning.  The Lord Dearing Award Scheme recognises the outstanding achievements of University of Nottingham individuals or teams in enhancing the student learning experience.  A Lord Dearing Award is highly valued within the University of Nottingham and formally recognises the contribution the Visual Learning Lab team has made to the student learning environment.
