"What first attracted me to Nottingham was the mix of a campus based uni giving you a
good student environment, with the vibrant city close by. This is something you rarely get, but it
allows you to experience the best of both worlds. There is always something going on in
Nottingham and so many places to go I don’t think I’ve even been to them all yet! Student events are happening all the time, this year I am involved in the summer party,
one of the biggest events on campus it sees the central downs area transformed into a festival
after exams. |
| This is just one of the many events that occur throughout both semesters- they are
all amazing with something for everyone. I enjoy the mix of subjects I get to experience on my c
ourse, it gives me a variety of topic areas to study and I think the geography and business
aspects work well together. I also hope it will give me a wider range of career prospects.
Studying at uni is different to a school environment with a lot more being down to your own
research and motivation, enjoying what you do and being in a good environment makes it a lot easier!"
