Extenuating circumstances (ECs) are events that are unforeseen and out of your control, and we understand that this can affect your performance in assessments or ability to submit your coursework on time. Some examples may include illness (physical or mental); injury; family illness and bereavement. Our EC policy is in place to support you should you experience any such instances – make sure you submit your claim at your earliest opportunity so we can ease any anxieties by putting the right measures in place to support you. There’s also further wellbeing support available should you need it, so please don’t hesitate to reach out for this.
