Biography

I joined the University of Nottingham in my current role during March 2018. I act as Executive Secretary to the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc), hosted by the UoN's School of Geography, with responsibility for managing the work of the Society's Office.

I come to this role following 20 years spent working at the University of Leicester. My most recent role at Leicester was as Operations Manager for the Department of Criminology. I managed a team of professional services staff responsible for the administration of a diverse range of teaching programmes (both campus based and distance learning) as well as providing administrative support for research, controlling departmental budgets and being a member of the department's Senior Leadership Team. Other roles I held at Leicester included working as an Assistant Registrar in the University's central professional services team, and as Budget Centre Administrator in the Faculty of Physical Sciences. Prior to working in the HE sector, I held a number of management accounting roles at Rolls-Royce plc in Derby.
