Project Manager of Network+ grant BIOREME, Faculty of Science
Carl is a physicist by background, acquiring an MPhys in Physics with Mathematics from the University of Sheffield in 2012 and a PhD in Theoretical Biophysics, also from Sheffield, in 2016. Since then he has held several Post-Doctoral posts, and is currently a Post-Doctoral researcher at the University of Manchester. His research focus is primarily in mathematical modelling of lung function, and using real patient data with models.
At Nottingham, he holds a part-time role as a Project Manager on the EPSRC-funded NetworkPlus BIOREME (Integrating data-driven BIOphysical models into REspiratory MEdicine), led by Bindi Brook. His role is primarily focussed on research-facing aspects of the project including event organisation and facilitating grant development initiatives in the network.
