Current Research
Dr Shuttleworth's research concerns mathematical modelling of biological phenomena using data from real, biological experiments. Currently, his work concerns the modelling of auxin signalling pathways in plant cells using real, experimental data.
Past Research
Dr Shuttleworth's doctoral work focused on the design of patch-clamp experiments for IKr-an important current in heart-muscle cells.
