My current research focuses on enhancing precision-cut lung-slice models through computational modelling and machine learning to investigate mechanobiology in airway remodeling. This project, supported by UKRI and part of the Medical Research Council Advanced Interdisciplinary Models Doctoral Training Program (MRC AIM DTP), aims to advance our understanding of disease mechanisms via advanced interdisciplinary approaches. I am driven by the potential to develop personalized therapies, supporting healthcare professionals and reshaping healthcare through interdisciplinary research. By leveraging in silico techniques, I aspire to explore areas beyond the reach of traditional research methods, pushing the boundaries of scientific inquiry toward new horizons.
