Expertise Summary

The Finelli lab explores the multiple facets of the neurodegenerative process using a wide range of molecular and cellular approaches, as well as transcriptomics, metabolomics and proteomics. Their main research centers around the role of oxidative and nitrosative stresses and redox mechanisms in the pathophysiology of neurodegenerative conditions including Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and frontotemporal dementia.
