Wednesday 25 June Future Energy for Aerospace
In our Future Energy for Aerospace event Professors Gavin Walker and Tony Marmont look at the roles that hydrogen storage technologies and synthetic fuels, respectively, will play in the future aerospace industry.
Gavin Walker will discuss the role of hydrogen and fuel cells in helping to reduce the carbon intensity of aircraft and ground support activities.
Tony Marmont is visiting professor at Loughborough University and founder of Air Fuel Synthesis Ltd (www.airfuelsynthesis.com), amongst other titles. Tony will discuss how Air Fuel Synthesis uses renewable energy to capture carbon dioxide and water from the air, electrolyses the water to make hydrogen and reacts the carbon dioxide and hydrogen together to make hydrocarbon fuels for aviation, amongst other industries.
Location: Aerospace Technology Centre, Innovation Park, Triumph Road, Nottingham, NG7 2TU
