Study Aerospace

Plane in flight

In 2015 the Institute for Aerospace Technology launched a new University of Nottingham Aerospace Undergraduate course.

2016 saw our first students arrive on campus for the beginning of a bright new future in Aerospace Engineering.

The course has had tremendous support from our Industrial Advisory Group which includes representatives from Rolls-Royce, GE Aviation Systems, EADS (Airbus) and the Midlands Aerospace Alliance. Representatives from these companies as well as United Technologies and BAE Systems worked with the IAT to provide key recommendations for the course concept and structure to reflect industry needs for technical and transferable skills.

The course content and structure was developed by the University and an Industrial Advisory Board set up specifically for the Undergraduate course with representatives from industry who have a specific interest on graduate skills and recruitment in their respective businesses and is chaired by a representative from the UK National Aerospace Technology Institute.

The University of Nottingham is a leading Aerospace University. For the most up to date course details, including course fees and entry requirements, follow the links below. You will be re-directed to the University’s main course pages which are updated regularly.
