Financial Inclusion in Africa

Financial Inclusion in Africa: Challenges and Opportunities

We are delighted to announce our workshop on “Financial Inclusion in Africa: Challenges and Opportunities”. This will be hosted by the University of Nottingham Inclusive Financial Technology (INFINITY) Research Hub, Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) and Rural Inclusion on 24th November, 2022 at the Jubilee Campus, University of Nottingham.

Rural Inclusion is a social enterprise driving economic development in underserved rural communities across the world. It provides digital solutions for local partners to deliver education programmes to rural communities, including its flagship mobile application Ostrii, animation services and programme design consultancy.

This workshop will be an excellent opportunity to bring together practitioners and academics, discussing the critical challenges faced by the rural communities in Africa with regard to financial inclusion and tech-driven solutions. The event will unlock opportunities of research collaborations, paving ways for joint projects in future.

To register, kindly email Ann Lavin at ann.lavin@nottingham.ac.uk

We are looking forward to your participation!
