Research Topic:Exploring the Impacts of Mandatory IFRS Adoption on the Flows of Foreign Direct Investments in KSA
Research Details:My research exploring the impact of mandatory adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) to Saudi Arabia. The study aims to assess how the implementation of IFRS has influenced FDI inflows into the country. It will particularly focus on identifying which sectors have seen an increase in FDI following the adoption of IFRS by Saudi public companies. This information will be crucial for Saudi businesses and policymakers to understand which strategies have been effective and what improvements are needed to attract more FDI.
