eMentoring
Our online eMentoring scheme enables students to connect with individuals who have experience and knowledge of various professions and industries. The scheme is designed to help students find mentors, who can provide advice and guidance to prepare students embarking on their chosen careers. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please read the Mentor Agreement before registering.

Why become a mentor?
Our eMentoring scheme enables you to give your time to Nottingham University Business School by mentoring a current student. Becoming a mentor will help you to:
- Refine your one-to-one mentoring skills.
- Play an important role at a vital time in a student’s life.
- Give advice about the unwritten aspects of your role or industry.
- Get to know the people who are the future of the international job market.
- Widen your professional network.
What to expect
As a mentor, you might help a mentee to prepare a job application or for an interview, explore a number of different career options, set career goals and start taking steps to realise them, and gain commercial awareness through exposure to your work area.
How much time...
The eMentoring programme is very flexible. It takes place online so you can participate from anywhere in the world, at work or home. Options available, include the quick "answer a student’s question", as well as structured programmes which last up to four, 12, or 24 weeks.
