Working with practices
The CEVM is currently working with a number of small animal, large animal and mixed practices spread across the United Kingdom. The practitioners and their clients and patients are very significant partners in our research. We aim to do research that is important and relevant to first opinion practice; therefore their participation in designing, facilitating and proving feedback on our projects is vital.
We try to ensure that our research has minimal impact on the day to day running of practice, so patient care and business priorities are not compromised in any way. In return for being involved with our research, we are happy to provide some professional development for veterinary staff (including nurses) about EVM and other topics, and practical advice about undertaking journal clubs/clinical meetings and applying the principles of EVM to practice.
We are always looking to get involved with more practices, so if you are interested in working with us, please don’t hesitate to contact us at cevm@nottingham.ac.uk, or join our mailing list to stay updated about current and future projects.
