American and Canadian Studies PhD students awarded pre-doctoral fellowship

Congratulations to PhD student Jimmy Brookes for securing a prestigious year-long pre-doctoral fellowship at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. From September 2018 Jimmy will work with Senior Curator Eleanor J. Harvey and historian James Barber from the National Portrait Gallery.
