Karen Salt appointed Deputy Chair of UKRI advisory group for equality, diversity and inclusion

Congratulations to Karen Salt (American and Canadian Studies), who has been appointed Deputy Chair of the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)’s new External Advisory Group for equality, diversity and inclusion. Karen is already a member of the AHRC Advisory Board. Karen was formally invited by Prof Jennifer Rubin (Executive Chair of  ESRC) to join the UKRI External Advisory Group (EAG) on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. This is a critical group that will help shape strategy across all of UKRI, commission and produce evidence of various practices/contexts and develop funding initiatives in this area.
