Karen Salt chairs Reverse Select Committee in Parliament

Karen Salt (American and Canadian Studies), recently chaired what AHRC/GCRF and the International Development Committee (IDC) of the House of Commons refers to as the Reverse Select Committee during the recent Mobilising Global Voices event in Parliament. You can find out about the event on the Mobilisng Global Voices event website. This was one of the first “reverse” events to have academics talk to MPs and specialists from the IDC.

Karen is now working with the Clerk of this committee and with AHRC on future activities with an eye toward greater inclusion of diverse voices.
