Celeste-Marie Bernier, Professor of African American Studies, has won the prize for a remarkable book published in English in the field of American Studies in 2012 or 2013.
The prize is awarded by the European Association for American Studies, a confederation of national and joint national associations of American Studies in Europe, founded in 1954.
