Biography
I am a cultural and economic geographer with broad interests in digital work, the creative economy, affective and aesthetic labour, gig work and the platform economy. I have a passion for exploring the lived experiences of workers within emerging sectors of the digital, creative industries. In 2022, I completed my PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Prior to joining the Department and the ReCARE project, I was a Research Associate for XR Stories at the University of York. Here, I worked on a project exploring how new digital technologies (such as virtual production) are influencing how people live and work within the television and film industries. I am also currently Researcher in Residence (Environmental Sustainability) at the Virtual and Immersive Production Studio at the University of Nottingham.
