Writer in Residence 2014: Sudabeh Mohafez
The Department of German Studies is delighted to welcome the author Sudabeh Mohafez as DAAD Writer in Residence from 24.2.-10.3.2014.
Sudabeh Mohafez (born 1963 in Tehran) lives in Stuttgart where she also teaches literary writing. She studied Music and English Literature in Germany. She has worked for several non-governmental organisations, specifically in the prevention of violence and crisis intervention.
Her literary work has earned her numerous literary grants and scholarships and she was awarded a Poetikdozentur (lectureship in poetics) at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden for the Sommersemester 2007.
