Re-makes in Russian Culture.

This workshop discusses the performance, dissemination and marketing of the Russian past. Panel topics are: Re-imagining Russia for a British audience, Performance as Re-make, Re-imaginings in Literary and Audio-visual Culture.

The workshop is organised by Polly McMichael and Monica White of the Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies with the generous support of CRCEES and the Partridge Fund. Contributors include Mel Bach (Cambridge University Library), Victoria Donovan (University of St Andrews), Emily Finer (University of St Andrews), Dawn Hazle (independent researcher), Jane Herring (Lacemarket Theatre), Cynthia Marsh (University of Nottingham), Iryna Muha (MuHa), Olga Voronina (University of St Andrews).
