The aim of this one-day conference is to bring together students and staff in order to celebrate the merging of the departments of Classics and Archaeology at the University of Nottingham.
The conference welcomes all PhD students and early career researchers working in academic fields involved in the study of the past (Archaeology, Classics, History, and Theology and Religious Studies), exploring and comparing how different approaches (eg, reception, material culture, language and literature, history, philosophy, anthropology) can lead to similar or dissimilar interpretations of the past.
