This page provides information about the venue of the eg-ice2017 workshop and on how to get there.  
 

Venue

The workshop will be held in the Engineering Science and Learning Centre (ESLC) on the University Park campus of the University of Nottingham. This campus is the University’s largest campus at 300 acres and it is widely regarded as one of the most attractive in the country.

Travelling to/in Nottingham

Nottingham can be reached by train from most of the major UK cities and via the East Midlands Airport (21 km from venue), the Birmingham International Airport (2h train connection), and several London airports (3h train connection).

Aeroplane

Train

  • National Rail, Taxi from Nottingham Railway Station to University Park campus is approx. £10 and takes 15 min.

Tram

  • Nottingham Express Transit (NET), Tram from Nottingham Railway Station (Station stop) to University Park campus (University of Nottingham stop) is £2.20 and takes 15 min (every 10 minutes).

Bus

  • Nottingham City Transport (NCT), 5 min walk from Nottingham Railway Station to Broadmarsh Bus Station, Bus to University Park campus is about £2 and takes about 20 min (every 20 minutes)
