The Confucius Classroom at The Alderman White School (CCAWS)

The 8th October 2015 saw the launch of CCAWS, Nottingham Confucius Institute (NCI)'s first affiliated Confucius Classroom. The signing of the Confucius Classroom agreement between NCI and The Alderman White School, marked a new chapter in NCI’s proud history of engagement with the local community.CCAWS is located at both Alderman White School and Bramcote College, serving the family of schools linked to The White Hills Park Federation.

NCI offers comprehensive support to CCAWS, from sending qualified teachers to work full time, to providing access to a wide range of resources available from CI Headquarters (also known as Hanban).

This is another example of NCI establishing partnerships with local people and organisations to enable greater opportunities and access to learning Mandarin Chinese and experiencing Chinese culture.Further information about the CCAWS can be found here.
