Why we exist

Connect Nottingham is a new community research hub in the Central Building at the heart of the new Castle Meadow Campus in Nottingham city centre funded through a major capital grant provided by the Garfield Weston Foundation. Connect Nottingham facilities will include a cutting-edge immersive room, a research café/restaurant, a shop and activity spaces.

Connect Nottingham will offer a relaxed, non-intimidating venue for local people to interact – by simply sharing a coffee, engaging with each other through structured sessions and workshops, embarking on a learning journey via interactive activities or contributing to our latest participatory research. This new space will enable us to interact and engage with the community at all stages of the research life cycle (from study design through data gathering and analysis to knowledge exchange and dissemination).

Connect Nottingham is currently being built and is due to be completed in 2025.
