BBSRC DTP – 50 four-year PhD studentships now open

The BBSRC Doctoral Training Programme (DTP) is offering talented graduates in Agriculture, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Materials, Natural Sciences, Psychology, Physics, Medical and Veterinary Sciences the opportunity to engage in the globally recognised research environment of The University of Nottingham.

Their four-year fully funded PhD programme offers projects aligned with the BBSRC strategic priorities in Agriculture & Food Security, Industrial Biotechnology & Bioenergy and World Class Bioscience (molecules, cells & organisms).

Students will spend time in the labs on three mini-projects selected by the student from a choice of over 100 in the biological and physical sciences, agriculture, medicine and veterinary science before starting work on their chosen PhD project.

Recruitment for October 2016 intake opens on Friday 20 November 2015. The deadline is Monday 14 December 2015.
