Represent Nottingham at the U21 Conference 2016

University of Tecnologico de Monterrey 720x315

The twelfth annual Universitas 21 Undergraduate Research Conference takes place at the University of Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico from 11 July to 16 July 2016 – could you represent your university?

Universitas 21 is an international group of leading, research-intensive universities, of which The University of Nottingham is a member. The conference attracts students from a diverse range of disciplines and typically includes seminars, student presentations and social activities to promote networking and stimulate discussion. This year, the theme is 'A global perspective on ageing societies'.

The University will send one undergraduate student from each campus (UK, China and Malaysia) to this conference. If you wish to be considered for this position, please check your suitability and availability, download and complete the application form and return to Professor Martin Luck at martin.luck@nottingham.ac.uk by Friday 26 February. Please also discuss the opportunity with your research supervisor before applying.

Selection will be based on the quality of the research to be presented, its relevance to the conference theme and your ability to act as an ambassador for the University. You must be a current student at The University of Nottingham and the research you wish to present must have been carried out while you were an undergraduate. Regarding relevance to this year's topic, the theme of the conference can be interpreted broadly and it is up to you to explain how your research may fit with it. The successful delegate will receive a bursary of £750 from the International Office. Conference registration and accommodation costs will also be covered.

For further information, please email Professor Luck.
