Language Centre 714x249

Do you have an interest in foreign language learning? If so the Self-Access Centre is the ideal place to study. You can build on classroom-based language teaching, or use the facility for independent study. Currently based in Trent C66 it houses a variety of language resources such as digital course materials, text books, dictionaries, foreign language films, magazines and satellite TV stations.

The Self-Access Centre allows you to:

• Work independently in a quiet and relaxed environment
• Use a range of materials and equipment
• Expand language study and improve language skills at your own pace
• Concentrate on specific language skills that require additional practice
• Work with other students in small groups
• Take control of your own learning
• Develop confidence as a language learner

Other students have said the Self-Access Centre:
